One of the more effective and accepted treatments for OSA, CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) equipment relieves the airway obstruction by delivering air at a fixed pressure. With a CPAP breathing machine, you can experience a more restful sleep and can feel more energized during the day.

Our registered respiratory therapists at Mobility in Motion can provide you with a personalized knowledge of your treatment options, as well as a care plan and 30 day equipment trial. Contact one of our offices in Ontario to learn more about Sleep Apnea and the treatment options including CPAP, APAP, and BIPAP.

What is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?

Affecting 20 million adults in North America, OSA can make you stop breathing during sleep due to a collapsed airway. This can happen because of a larger tongue, extra tissue in your airway or insufficient muscle tone. These pauses in breathing can happen more than 30 times in one hour and can lead to the development of serious health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, severe daytime fatigue and other health issues.
